Beeping co2/ propane sensor

Apparently this is an error code, but, they are made by various manufacturers so no luck figuring what it means. Mine is only a year old and was plugged into shore power so the end of life or low battery dont apply.
My guess is it's letting you know you had an event ( in my case I started my van with the camper door open and set it off) or perhaps the sensor is only good for 1 event. I'll try re setting it, if it continues get a new one

What is the expiration date on the detector? If not there, what is the manufacturing date? These are good for 5 years - and beeping is definately a way they make themselves known...

Were you at CICO this year? One of the seasonal campers had one that was failing -- all day Friday beep -- beep -- beep I'm not sure when it quit :)

Not sure if bought it last summer. I shut off the power today and restarted but without sitting in it for a few hrs cant tell if it worked. It's too bad nobody has a list of error codes . Mine has done 2 beeps, and 3 beeps, but none at all until I accidentally triggered it by leaving the door open and starting the van filling it with exhaust fumes. My guess is either the 2 beeps or 3 beeps indicate an event. If so shutting off the power should fix it.
If anyone has an old one maybe open it up and see if you can find the actual manufacturer inside. Then we may be able to get an error code list
