I decided to add an Autowbrake controller. I used a connector block instead of splicing the connections. To tap into the trailer light wiring I removed the right tail light and spliced in a section of four wire trailer ribbon cable. I routed the free end into the electrical compartment. I had left the plug on the end of the cable and used it to verify my connections using a trailer tester ( very handy tool). I then cut the connector off, crimped fork ends on, and attached the four wires to the connector block. I then added a blue wire to the trailer brake terminal and connected it to the block. I then spliced a guarded switch into a power wire, attached one end to the battery and the other to the block. I then matched up the appropriate wires on the Autowbrake to the block.I fixed the controller and switch to the rear of the right storage box,
I also added a 12v wire to a 7-4 pin tow connector adapter. There is no brake wire or backup light.
