Article in Minneapolis Star Tribune

Wow, Mom and Dad should be very proud, not everyone can say they have 3 very successful children. Too bad they can't record what they did and package the technique so others could learn.

Thanks George! The article doesn't tell about Craig's younger brother, who several years ago, invented a new type of roller ski and a new type of kayak; Craig's older brother's invention of a new type of scoop for ice fishing; or about Craig's patents...very creative bunch & I am very proud of all of them. :)

Thanks for sharing that article with us, it was great! You are right to be proud of them. Entrepreneurship keeps this country going.

Betsey,
A very good story. Inventions by the average guy are what makes the world easier, better, and more enjoyable for us all.
In order to solve problems for one of my employers, I have received two patents. Of minimal impact to the average guy, both are used extensively in the residential heating and cooling market.
With that being said, how many patents have you guys received? Just curious. Obtaining a patent is costly, and may not reflect all the inventions taken to completion.
Thanks, Steve

That is cool! I think that is where most patents originate - solving problems for employers.

Craig & Cary have received 7 patents in the electronics field from when they worked for a company that made uninterruptible power supplies. Like yours, the average person wouldn't get too excited over them but the patents are important in their field.

The guys currently have a patent pending for a new design of a product, not related to teardrops. Exciting things are in the works!

Never a dull moment!

When we returned from our trip I had a bunch of emails from friends in the twin cities who had seen the article and was sure it was our Camp-Inn - all were very impressed as was I.
