5 years ago today, we ate some delicious corned beef has at the Little Crane Restaurant in Necedah and then went to the mother ship to meet Cary. Picked up Jeremiah, our 560 Ultra, and headed for South Carolina. We've camped in it 114 nights (17,000+ miles) so far and hopefully will get many more in it. We've made 2 Long Hauls heading West the first 2 summers we had it. Visited 13 National Parks camping in/near Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Arches, Mesa Verda, Hot Springs, Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smokey Mountains. In SC, we have camped in 5 state parks plus 2 County Parks and one in NC along with one National Forest campground in NC too. And we've gotten to be friends with 2 of the Camp Inn owners that live nearby and get to know you through the forum a little bit.

Favorite campgrounds in the West - Fruita in Capitol Reef, Tower Falls in Yellowstone & Many Glacier in Glacier
Favorite campgrounds in the South - Oconee State Park in SC, Falls Lake State Park in NC, & Lake Powahaton in NC

Sets of tires on Jeremiah - 2 because we did not hitch it up correctly the first and I dragged it up the mountain with the emergency brake engaged after it came off the hitch. By the way, it smells really bad & generates a considerable bit of heat when you do that in case you were wondering.

How many can sleep in Jeremiah? - 3 people along with a Corgi and a Boston Terrier Mix Mutt. Tried the cat in their over the weekend, but Lucifer did not like the AC noise.

Strangest thing Seen in a campground - In Fruita Campground at Capitol Reef NP, one morning while everyone in the campground was out of their campers and tents getting ready for the day an elderly woman exited her tent. She was wearing only a negligee as she proudly went to the campground bathhouse.

Last Trip that was not the backyard - Falls Lake State Park in NC to visit our daughter Thanksgiving Weekend.

Next scheduled trip - Right now it is Memorial Day weekend at Lake Hartwell State Park and in June we have reservations at Hamilton Branch State Park. Both of these are in SC. In reality, the next trip or two will probably be the backyard.

Summer plans would ideally have been a bigger trip. We had not made definite plans when the pandemic hit. One idea was to take it back for a checkup with the folks and then camp in the Midwest before/after. We have been to the UP of Michigan before and would like to go back. I don't remember living there, but I actually lived in Cedar Rapids, IA and have always wanted to see the state I almost grew up in. We have some relatives in Chicago although I haven't figured out where to camp not too far from Wrigley Field. Another thought was New England.

I know we have tickets to go back to the Darlington NASCAR race again and probably would see Jason and Angie Corder who have a Camp Inn and live here in Anderson. Sometime in the fall, we are supposed to camp with David and Treva Robinson who bought a Camp Inn last summer. Right now we just want to stay healthy and #StayHome so we can all camp sometime in the future.
