I am selling my 2011 Raindrop 560 Ulta #445.

Asking $16,000 or best offer.

I am located in Beaverton, OR.

I have had wonderful adventures and met some great people on my many travels with this trailer. My needs have changed and it is with a sad heart that I am selling it.

Notes:

1. The trailer has been stored in covered parking or the garage when not in use.
2. The aluminum skin has been allowed to age.
3. The trailer was at Camp Inn in September for a check up.
4. Due to a leak in the lower kitchen storage bin, there is staining on the wood. Camp Inn repaired the leak in September and verified that there was no structural damage.
5. There is a leak in the upper cabinet in the cabin on the passenger side. Due to the pandemic, I have not had an opportunity to have the leak repaired.

Features:

• SUV Off Road Tire Package
• Electric Brakes with Park Lever
• Air Conditioning
• LP Furnace with Hi/Lo switch
• Solar Controller/External Connector
• AMG Battery Upgrade
• Stainless Steel Rear Bumper
• 2" Receiver Hitch
• 15" HDTV/DVD Player (remote control is broken. I use an Apple TV.)
• Alcan Cover
• Screen Doors
• Galley Wind Screens
• Spare Tire
• Moon Roof
• Storage Cover
• Roof Rack
• ARB Awning with room
• Two Drop In Storage Drawers
• Two Side Tables (w. side extension)
• Froli Sleep System

Hi. I really like the ARB awning. It provides protection from both the sun and rain. I used my REI wind walls with the awning to create a nice shady area when I was in Arizona.

I am not interested in selling it separately right now.

Joan

It is truly the end of an era Joan. Whoever the new owner is will be lucky to receive such a well loved CampInn.

Good afternoon Joan,

I'm very interested in your Raindrop! Judging by your post and the comments here it has a storied history. If it is still for sale, please contact me and we can work out the details: hartdeese (at) mac (dot) com.

Cheers,
Rupert

Looking into getting one. What’s size is yours and did that size work well?

NH,

I bought this size:

ARB 4x4 Accessories 814201 Retractable Awning (ARB4402A) 2000x2500 mm

It was the perfect size and worked great.

Joan

Hi Joan! I see that this thread is a month old now, but I'd love to talk with you about the trailer if you are still looking for a new owner for it. We've been wanting a CampInn for a few years now and I think we are ready to take the plunge. My cell is five three zero, nine zero two, 8772. Call or text :) Thank you, Erica

Hi Joan!
I am solo camper (with a dog). I am looking to buy a 560. Your camper sounds perfect! Is it still available? My cell is 3zero3, 532seven554.
Thank you,
Krista

Hi Joan, interested in your 560. Could you send me some pics of the water damage on both leaks and maybe some interior shots? You can email me at tingleas(at)gmail(dot)com

Thanks so much,
Gary

Good luck with your new adventures Joan, and welcome to the forum Rupert.
Like your TV!, but couldn't see the model badging in the photo, is it a TDI?

Hello all, thanks for the kind welcome. I'm happy to be the new owner of Far Fars.

I've finally put up a thread in the Meet & Greet to say what all I've been up to since the purchase.

Dustin, the TV is a 2013 TDI 6-speed manual. I've had great luck with it so far, how about you?

that car is an awesome TV. We towed our 550 for more than 50k miles with a 2012 JSW TDI, manual trans. This car crossed Independence Pass at 12000+ ft without missing a beat.

Yeah, we've been enjoying it thoroughly. 50k miles is impressive. Did you make any changes to your maintenance schedule to account for extra wear from towing?

not really. Changed the oil every 6-8k, rotate tires every 5-7k. I do try to make sure that the trailer brakes are adjusted correctly. We sold that car with 215000 miles on it and never had to replace the brakes or clutch. I was sad to see it go but the emissions warranty was about to run out.
We replaced it with a 2019 Alltrack, manual trans. It also does a good job towing but not as good as that diesel.
