Just a reminder to sign up for the 15th Camp-Inn Camp-Outt if you haven't already done so.

We currently have 175 people registered to attend (see list in previous post) and would love to have more!

Hope to see you in September!

It is getting closer, September is here. Haven't been to the CICO for a few years, how is this years been planed? In the past there have been a breakfast on Sunday morning. There have been other events like a wine and cheese tasting or a pot luck dinner on Saturday night. I am not sure if there has ever been a Beer tasting at the CICO. Glad it is only o few weeks away, I haven't been camping since early August, and we am itching to get on the road.

We registered early on, however a family situation has arisen since, which will keep us from making it this year. Hope everyone has a great time (how could you not??:)), and we'll try our best to make sure we don't miss next years gathering.

Fellow campers,

Jenn and I were discussing and thought it best to take a moment to advise you to bring whatever mosquito repellent works for you. As the Sun has sat each of the past four evenings at Castle Rock Park, the pests come out in force. Much worse than last year. Then again, worse than any year that I can remember while attending CICO.

Take it for whatever it is worth. I look forward to seeing y'all this weekend.

Until then...

Walk in Beauty,
BEAR

As I posted on another forum earlier, with all of the record flooding we have had in the past few weeks, we now have mosquitoes. These are not our typical ones. They are small and very aggressive, known as Tiger mosquitoes. With our recent declining temps, they have lessened a bit, but are still active. With upcoming temps much cooler this weekend, combined with the frost & possible light snow between Friday & Sunday, we are hoping they decrease even further. So, come prepared with warm clothes & repellent. :)

A big "THANK YOU" to Craig and Betsey for hosting another great CICO. Thanks to all who put in their time and effort to make it an enjoyable event, you are all appreciated.

Jim and Sue L. :D:)
