I tow with a Honda Ridgeline pulls great. The one feature I love is the trunk it will hold the Honda 2200 generator, tools, side tent and a whole bunch of other stuff you want to keep locked and dry. Rear split seats fold up for more room, I can keep one seat up and plug in the Dometic fridge...

Did you try reversing the key in the lock? One way will feel locked reverse it and it should work.

Did you leave the side light switch on inside the cabin?

I have the following tri max locks it is nice that they are all keyed alike . Just leave the vehicle hitched and locked and we had no problems. If leaving the trailer unhitched we would put the coupler lock on. & also have the SPOT tracker...

Totally agree I made a plywood platform like the one that is posted here in the forum. It worked great speeds set up time and was very useful on driveways. The bonus, it also worked for the 23zero shower tent / bathroom.
