Things usually come loose about the time you take them for granted.

On page 1 they listed # - I did a search and found them near to my area with very little shipping cost. They weren't stocked locally - I live near a small town.

After reading all this - I picked up a spare set to keep in the TD just in case they ever did go while on the road. Pretty inexpensive insurance. Bob

I know nothing about what is available for the Subaru - but I have had both 1 1/4 &. 2" hitches on vehicles. 2" is my choice if at all possible. The unit itself is much more rigid than the 1 1/4. Plus some the accessories are easier to find for 2". Capacity was never my concern when going...

Looks like brand new. Mine has started to have that mild patina look.

Quesidilla Mobilla, the Moab Brewery and Milt's are some of my favorite places in Moab. Weather wise we prefer late September to early October to be there. Way too hot for us northeners in the summer. Touring the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde is quite the experience.

Birder526 - I would believe that full-timing with 2 people in a stand-up camper is much practical than a TD. I have always felt that a TD was more a vacation camper for weekend, up to a month. Enjoy your new camper and stay in touch on the forum. RGupnorth

Nice images - probably there at the right time of the year. I remember my first trips out west - always seemed to be on the right side of the mountain at the wrong time of the day. Probably a east versus west coast thing. Bob

Looks like you had a good trip back and are taking advantage of the space under the CI for garage storage.

Re: white pitting on camper I have used the cotton candy stuff on a few areas on the back of my TD. It works quite well - is quite messy to work with - I found that once you are done rubbing the wizard in an area, you have quite a black mess. A light dusting of flour over that area really was...

I have a Honda CR-V - I think it comes up a little short on power when you get into hilly terrain. Plus tow capacity is 1500# - a loaded 560 is a little short of that - but close - I have moved over to using my jeep Laredo when it is going to involve a lot of hilly driving. Bob

Welcome to the forum. I like having the stove and a fixed place to use it. Last TD I had the stove was portable. Was hard to keep it secured properly. Bob
