    Why not have100% LED Lights?

Randy, Oops. Were you able to get with Cary or local Tri-Metric installers in your area? It's a bit of a trick to program, but once you get through the manual, it all makes sense. If you need help someday with programming and menus, just call me, we can go through it in 5 min.

    Why not have100% LED Lights?

I agree with Inn42. Now that we have our Tri-Metric meter, I have measured the reading lights with Xenon bulbs on the maximum brightness setting. One light is only 10.75 watts or .90 amps. Pretty low draw for such a bright light.

    Leather Bound Notebook

Mary & David, I asked my wife and she's flattered. She said that she could make another one with an "A' initial if you'd like for $45. That includes shipping. If you're still interested, just post note or IM me and I'll let her know.

$6 WINDPROOF Stainless Steel Paper Towel Holder

At the Texas Teardrop Roundup we met some cool teardrop folks and learned some tips and tricks. One trick we learned was from Jay & Valerie. They use Viva paper towels as they slightly stick together and if the wind blows, the roll does not unfurl.

    Leather Bound Notebook

My wife made a custom leather bound notebook for our teardrop travels. We use it for grocery lists, travel notes and check lists. She made the cover, but used a stamp she found at a local hobby store. [/url]

TriMetric - understanding your state of charge

LOL! The install was a piece of cake, I had Cary's team do it during construction. I did read the installation instructions and they didn't look too bad. I would guess that it's an easier install during construction but Cary should have the final word.

TriMetric - understanding your state of charge

We had a Bogart Engineering TriMetric installed on our 560. Specifically, the device is called the TM 2030-RV. Cary was super helpful in the install and helping me figure it all out. This device allows me to watch in real time my exact usage and charge of the battery. Said another way, I...

    Securing your trailer

We added another layer of security to our trailer this weekend. It's the Trimax Wheel Lock. Super easy to install, takes less than 10 seconds. This might make it more difficult to drag the trailer away.

    Itinerary Camp Inn Texans!

Diane & Michael, We all had a great time. Weather was hot and we had some rain on Saturday, nothing bad, just some sprinkles. It rained on Saturday night, but we didn't hear it, as we were fast asleep. Friday night was a pot luck dinner and Saturday night was movie night. The Texas...

    Securing your trailer

Yeah, Cary told us about that most theives will drag onto a roll-off flat bed and simply drive away. This should slow them down.

Update The Aluminum Falcon Is Home

Long trip indeed. We covered the Necedah to Houston part, which is 1,300 miles in 4 days, a leisurely trip compared to yours. I thought your name of "The Aluminum Falcon" was brilliant and of course liked the Star Wars reference. Safe travels and happy camping.

    Itinerary Camp Inn Texans!

Movie night sounds like a great idea. If Friday night is Pot Luck dinner, let's plan for Saturday movie night. Plus we are making brazed short ribs with fresh baked bread and cobbler for dessert. That will take some time for clean up and all. As for the campfire, my wife is so excited over...

    Securing your trailer

Now that we have our trailer, we secure it with the Mega Hitch Lock. We realize that nothing is fool proof, it will serve as a deterrent and slow them down a bit.

    Update Necedah Or Bust

Yeah, the $8 plastic Costco tubs work great, tough, weather proof and fit nicely under the trailer. We use them for items that go in the back of the pickup truck.
