    Northern Breeze 12 x 12 or 10 x 10

I agree with Pat. We don't have the floor and I just don't think we have wanted it. I like the ground under our feet. If we are cooking, washing dishes, or eating, spills don't matter. No floor to sweep. It dries quicker. I just don't like walking on the floor of a tent. I seem to think about...

How quickly can you make camp with your teardrop?

Willo, We keep our stuff in an out building. With the TD empty it is easier to change the sheets. When we leave I take the TD from the shed it is in to the outbuilding and load the appropriate stuff for that trip. Chairs, no chairs, Northern Breeze, or not, pop-up canopy, or not and so on. I...

    New Camper

Well good for you. I remember the day we started the build. Evan had not started the forum. I kept pictures in my office. I had the build website up on a spare monitor. It was alot of good, good fun. Steve

    Yearly Maintenance... ?

L.M. I remember Cary saying the bearings would last as long as the tires. Your experience would seem to confirm that. But, better safe than sorry. Steve

Ongoing maintenance or repairs out of state

Unless there is a main structure issue, repairs should be able to be done local. I was thinking Cary could authorize warranty work with someone in your area. Good question.

    Sagging doors.... What to do?

Todd, I am interested in the answer from Cary and crew. I would guess thru bolts would be a more permanent fix. Keep us up dated. Steve

    Extras that I'd pay for

Watch out Jean...I second Jean again. I understand it would be tedious, but since most things are born of necessity, a brief narrative of what caused the changes to the Camp-Inn product would be interesting. There are many factors that have lead to the product on the production floor today...

Couch / Bunk Beds 550 Vs 560 Bad Weather Comfort Level

Great question... I am with Jean, I second the Northern Breeze. With a Little Buddy Heater and a couple of recliner chairs and you can be comfortable on the coldest, rainiest of days. We went from tents to Camp-Inn. What would we do with a tent in bad weather? Well, we would be inside likely...

Boot Bins for Bad Weather Camping

Evan, Is that a line of frozen condensation on the wall of your Camp-Inn? Are you able to store your camper in side and allow to dry out or does the furnace do OK, so that it is not damp when you return? Just curious. Steve

Another ski weekend in the 560

Evan, Great pictures. I enjoy late season/snow camping. Here in TN it is by luck, not by choice. In TN most people hole up til March. I have tent camped when the mercury dipped to within a few degrees of zero. Using the Camp-Inn is a real up grade. I have noticed the memory foam is hard as a...

Need input on planning a trip

I am right now doing the same. Ours is slightly different. Ellen and I am planning to spend several days in the U.P. We are going out of our ways to visit friends and log a couple of days at Niagara Falls. Then on to the U.P. A stop at the Cherry Festival at Traverse City on the way home will...

Not Planned Titles Based On Camping Experience

Bear, What can we buy for four cents? Gas $3.25 a gallon, bread $2.30 a loaf, our experiences self valued at $.02. Maybe our experiences down the path should be priceless. Steve

    Battery isolator

Alan, That's just what it does. I think I have either 12 or 10 gauge to the connector. I even picked up the ground at the battery post clamp and ran them both to the 7 pin connector form under the hood to the rear. I just could not find a good ground at the tail lights in my Forester. Steve

    Battery isolator

I added a 12v relay that closes the hot wire to the 7 pin connector. When the key is off, the relay opens and the trailer and tow vehicle are isolated. Got the relay switch at an auto parts house....about $6. I wired the relay coil from the cigarette lighter wire.
