Fridge / Cooler Question On Cooler/refrigerator

Regarding the hockey stick. Don't waste your money. It is just a piece of wood in the shape of a hockey stick to use as a spacer to keep the refrigerator from moving around. You could easily make one yourself. If you make some strap handles for the refrigerator all you then need is a...

    LEDs for Interior/Galley Lights?

The main reason is LED lights use less energy, so you would be able to use the lights longer without draining your battery. The lights that D & V used are very nice as you could read more easily as they are adjustable. Now if there were just some at a reasonable cost I am sure everone would...

    21st annual Dam Gathering

For those of you who have attended this gathering at Antlers Camp Ground at Lake Shasta, Calif I thought I would give you a heads up. We drove through there on our way back from Arizona and the lake is gone. How dry is it you ask, you can walk across where the lake was. Dave

    Tax Implications

I was a little short on cash when I purchased mine so my credit union just gave me a loan on a vehicle I owned. No hassle but that's the way credit unions are. Dave

    Furnace Propane Furnace

As I see it the furnace was a good purchase. I live in Oregon but am currently traveling all over Arizona and it can get cold at night. A few minutes is all it takes. You lose about half the storage space. I put tools along with a hatchet for the tent stakes and the jack tool. I think it...

    Locks for trailer hitch

Re: Locks for trailer hitch - Trimax wheel locks It seems everone who comments on this is really worried about the theft of their trailer. Do you tie your car down at night? Give it a rest. Insurance is there for a reason. I have never seen any reports of stolen trailers and a camp in...

I had mentioned this same idea to my wife a few days ago so thanks for the reminder. I think the cutting boards will be the best and easily storer. The best part is we finally found something for the trailer that doesn't cost over $100.00. Glad I don't have a motor home. Dave

    LED Tail Lights Available

Now Camp Inn needs to sell a kit for a high light that is tied to the brake and turn signals that are LED lights. I may purchase one from an online store and install it. It would mount easily on the back of the air conditioner vent. Dave

    Solar: issues to consider?

I was refering to the Dometic CF-35 which I purchased from Camping World about a year ago. It does not keep food in a safe range. Camping World informed me that a 40 diff from the bottom to center of refigerator was normal. So I guess if you set if for 10 degrees F. you would be ok. My...

    Solar: issues to consider?

This should work well for you. If a person was to get a portable refrigerator you would need a larger one. In any case you are better off without the refrigerator. They will only keep food cool to 40 deg below ambient. Enjoy your new toys. Dave
