    550 / 560 Galley Hatch Lift?

I had read that if gas struts aren't used frequently, they lose their holding power. I can attest to this as both my boat seats require me to hold them up to stay in the up position, and my Porsche front trunk that I never use...it's literally worthless. The dealer told me if I wasn't using...

Is this Steve from Dell? Sounds like there's someone in Georgetown as well. We've only had our a few months and a few trips so far, but really enjoy it. Swapped out the wheels for 15" in black...really like the look. Haven't been to Garner in several years. Been enjoying Pace Bend's no...

Trailer, Light Truck Or Passenger Tires?

I ended up going with a trailer tire that was rated for 75 or 80 mph, forget which...that's important for me as I have 70-85mph speed limits all around me. Discount Tire spent a lot of time with me because they loved the trailer. They felt LT or Trailer tire were the right options. The...

    Pace Bend Park, Austin

Just stayed at Pace Bend again, this time in the Mudd Cove area which is more open but allows you to bring a larger group. Camp anywhere you like...not 'spaces', just grass. Put your fire in a ring provided, or create your own. This used to be known as a bit of a party place, but I haven't...

    Misc Which Options

I bought used and it has most features. Love the side screens...have slept with screens only and great to air it out during the day. The 3" lift would be nice...I'm using 6" drop receiver on both my mid size suv's. I'm not tall, but would be nice with the counters up too. I'm not a fan of...

    Camping Options Near Seattle, Wa

I live in Texas, but grew up in WA! Multiple sides of Mount Rainier are amazing...we were at the Paradise side this summer. Amazing old growth trees at the camp grounds. Mount Baker and Shuksan...anywhere close...watch the sunrise as it hits the glacier of Shuksan. Lake Wenachee area...

    What Size Comforter/blanket?

I believe this year they have a number of unique patters for the 100 year National Park anniversary, but they aren't all available in multiple sizes. We were forced to buy a twin to get the pattern we liked...ends up we're happy we didn't go bigger.

    What Size Comforter/blanket?

I recently posted a thread about our Pendleton National Park blanket purchase...we purchased a twin. For us, the purpose was first simply a finishing touch to the cabin, and second keeping warm. We feel the twin was the right choice...enough room to tuck it in at the sides and feet. If...

Custom Strap Handles for the Dometic Refrigerator

If the picture above fits, then this should. They are probably 3/4" to 1" thick. I don't have this fridge, so not familiar with the space allowance.

Custom Strap Handles for the Dometic Refrigerator

I've used these as replacement handles on a number of items. Strong, comfortable, and cheap. They are designed as the bow handle for kayaks. https://www.amazon.com/Yak-Gear-HAND-Handle-Kit/dp/B00FA3RQBS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1477849145&sr=8-2&keywords=Yak-Gear+Kayak

    Flag Pole Mount

Aditude Gear ATV Flags I purchased the 6' (3/8th) with the US flag pre-installed. If you don't want the flag, you can go to the 'gear' section and just get the pole. I also purchased a couple of the accessories for attach a 2nd flag.

    Flag Pole Mount

I bought the Towbert solution with the 6' flagpole so we could double up the flag and fly it high! Haven't installed yet, but arrived quickly and will install this weekend. Looks great! Nice idea.

    Wheel "upgrade"

We normally average 19mpg on roadtrips without a trailer...I'd estimate we're getting about 14 with the trailer. I haven't done an official mileage test...I'll do that on my next trip. Been too excited just having our trailer! We're also over packing. Realizing now how much we don't need...
