    Teardrop History

I have been scanning family photos and came across these two. Probably 1952, I don't know where. The lady is my mother and the two boys are my older brothers. The younger one is two years older than I.

    Trailer Tongue Break

Contrary to good driving etiquette, I have used the left lane on washboard Interstates. When I see bounces of over a foot I move over. Slowing down doesn’t seem to help.

    Lost Nut on Leveling Jack

The links in the older posts aren’t working, for me. You might try Stabilizer Accessories – Ultra-Fab Products Also, looking at the construction/attachment of the nut it seems that using a power driver (drill or impact) might contribute to damage to the cotter pin. Thoughts?

Zion Np And The Eastern Sierra

I recently purchased the 1up rack (single) with the cargo carrier and turn signal kit. It fits really nicely and is easy to put on and take off.

    We Boost?

OpenSignal works pretty good, it has a tower locator and uses speed as a stand in for signal strength if you have an iPhone (no Apps and no built in dB viewer)

    Outback Tv Cruise Control

I have a 2015 XTerra tow vehicle, with manual transmission. While using cruise control on the interstate all the warning lights came and it felt like the clutch was going to blow. I depressed the clutch and pulled off. After turning off the engine I did a normal restart. With the cruise...

Trailer Lights For The Accessory Hitch?

I just added a four pin to the back of my CI for a bike/cargo carrier. Basically, it’s the same as adding a four pin to a car. The tail lights pop out and have labels on the lights. I tied in the tail, right, and ground to the right side and the left to ….the left light. The wires can be...

    One Night Stands

I usually set up the side tent if camping for 2 or more nights. A dry entry is one of the primary reasons I use it. It seems that the bathtub bottom is equally good at holding water in as keeping it out. When it pools close to the CI door it must be sponged out. I’m thinking of adding...

    Perry Florida

I just stayed at Ochlockonee State Park, within St Marks Wildlife Refuge. Its a nice little park with proximity to St Marks, Bald Point SP, and bike trails(but not connecting). Perry is not far away. I used to have a sawmill subscriber account there and my best friend was married there...

    Mr. Heater Little Buddy

Heaters again. I recently tried a combination of heaters. The first two pictures are electric heaters. Both are max 500 watts. The one inside has H/L and a timer, thermostat. It barely warms the wood but is adequate to warm the interior. The one in the galley uses radiant tubes and is a...

    We Boost?

I used the campinn tv fitting. I just used it this past weekend at Ocklochonee Florida SP. iPhone 12 5g. One bar boosted to four. Big improvement in streaming. My Wilson booster is not 5g “rated”.

    Propane Tank Recertification

Thanks, I’ve contacted the local dealers and they do not recertify tanks. I have home propane service with Amerigas, and even though they advertise recertification, they don’t actually do it. Aluminum tanks run about $250 and seldom show signs of corrosion, which is why they are used in marine...

    Propane Tank Recertification

I have an aluminum 20 lb tank that needs a five year recert. I’ve tried to find a dealer to do this but have been unsuccessful. Any one having a similar problem?
