Hi Greg, We went ahead and applied Woody Wax XXX right off the bat. Keep in mind that the film leaves some streaks behind and a lovely residue on your lights that you'll have to clean off as well. Be extra careful cutting the ropes, etc. so that you don't knick the siding. We just washed...
