When new we always recommend a full replacement policy like Cosmo discussed. But as he pointed out this will only be able to be continued for so many years from new. At that point then I would recommend discussing a policy for an agreed value (ACV) (actual cash value) on the camper. This is...
Chesney was running around loose right down the road the Camp-Inn factory is on. There is a small river that crosses the road though and it was very unlikely Chesney would have crossed the river to our side and visited us. Still, we were on high alert watching for him. Glad to see he is back...
Oh ya, my plane is all wired with white Tefzel wire throughout. Color code is not a thing in most older certified aviation.
Years ago I helped out my brother while he was over seas in the AF by getting his Harley sorted out and everything working. He had purchased it from our uncle who had...
For sure, all of what Dustin said. Spot on. If not going all week there are a couple of dates to try and work in. That is the night time airshows on Wed and Sat. For sure try to catch one of those.
I will likely be camping in the campground. We should get together when you are there.

The "boost" device for the furnace is something Camp-Inn produces. It is available on our online store. It is called the Altitude Compensator. This is because most of these sail switch issues rear their heads at higher altitudes as the air gets thinner and does not blow with enough force anymore...
The backup lights work on factory wired 7 pin connectors on Ridgelines. One of the reasons we are always happy to see a Ridgeline for a tow vehicle, we know all 7 pin are operational.
The vehicles we generally see issues with 7 pins are usually the ones that did not come with a factory...

Gordon,
At 6' 7" you really should be looking at a 560 series instead of a 550 series. The Camp-Inns all use a queen size mattress which is 6' 6" long. However with the 560 series the sofa at the head of the head drops down flat at night to extend the bed to 8' long. This is a design feature...
Brand should not matter. A WD40 brand of silicone sounds fine. The options John and Van showed would also work great too. Really just needs to be something that stays in the lock pretty well and has some water repellent characteristic.

I have to disagree with Sweeney on this one (that does not happen often). We have found that graphite lubricants should never be used in the door locks on the camper. It ends up mixing with concrete dust from the road surface when driving in the rain and the graphite makes a super hard concrete...
A 2000watt solar generator will be enough watts to run the camper's AC system. That part will work well. The question, is the one that Dustin is pointing out, is whether the battery is big enough to be useful. One thing I have noted with the 2000watt SoGens are they have bigger batteries and...
Probably a compressor like what is in the portable fridges we all use in our campers. I would say for a AC unit as small as you are shooting for the power consumption would be about the same as a large portable fridge.
