Lots of opinions on Canopies

Finally got around to sizing up my Big Agnes Sage Deluxe to my 560. Good fit and lots of coverage.
(Has additional add-on side flaps for low sun or rain.

Oh, now there's something I like! This reminds me a lot of my Pahaque Cottonwood which up to this point has been my #1 go to whenever I've asked about tents and which I like the best.

This is awesome.

Wow. That's a great fit! Did you try fitting it over more of the trailer? Does it have side walls?
This looks really handy! Easy setup, stake-able to hold in place for medium strong wind, and yet light enough that if a williwaw, santa anna, or haboob comes roaring down on ya, it can blow off like a tumbleweed without taking the CI along with it...on a kite ride!

@SethB great find!
Nothing better than to see different tents set up over one same model.

I wonder if its a good time to have a poll of current CI campers...maybe someone start a thread after the CICO, with a walkaround video?

Or some of us could do a handheld video uploaded to youtube...add later: pretty easy if you arent worried about editing, upload for free for a private channel.

Kelty Backroad looks like best hasty shelter for cooking and eating for two. No screens, but this is easiest for a one day shelter popup, if traveling, one nite stay then a move on.

The REI is the easy replacement for old NB screenhouse that was popular here in forum 10-15 years ago, no longer made.
Thats the bug free place to eat and hangout for the really sweaty places.

And the luxury mated to camper is a Clam or better a Gazelle...that does it all, into the shoulder seasons with cold and a bit of snow.

I think that Gazelle is next for me, when I've used up the NB, as I like to get someplace and hangout a couple three or more days, boondocking, so the little bit of extra time to setup and take down is worth it, esp if chilly.

The ARB with sidewalls is a contender too, especially under a Bundawn,
but since I dont have a roof rack and like to keep my CI slick, for least drag/best mpg
And light weight of CI to loaded TV ratio, I have to set up from ground up.

Our current bits and bobs:
ARB 8’ awning on passenger side. Straightforward to pitch and take down, sizeable, always ready!
8’ (regular size) Sportbrella. Protects the galley (only!) nicely, super quick, rides crossways in the galley.
Kelty Backroads over the galley. The new kid, great coverage for cooking and eating, 2 added poles will put it completely overhead, can also come down into snug mode. Takes time and space to set and remove. It’s now going up for our longer stays of 3+ nights regardless of weather.
Lightspeed Privacy/Shower tent. Bats utility, for changing, getting coolers out of the sun, semi-side-tent, etc. super quick up and down. Now with rain fly.
Coleman 13’ pagoda style canopy, for over the picnic table for larger/longer stays. Actually covers an 8’ park/forest table, nobody gets rain down their backside.(that sucks)
REI screen house. We mostly avoid thick mosquito season, but sometimes we gotta’.

Ya, I got the SunBrella based on reviews here. Easy to mount on bumper with a couple bungees or some have a hitch adapter...
Super handy, just enough shade to cook in full sun, squeeze under one chair for shade in hot desert.

I also have the OEM side tent thats a bit of work at first to setup but a really good fit, easy changing with room for a honey bucket.

I'd advise anyone buying new to just go ahead and get roof rack, in order to mount the ARB or Bundawn, so worth it, for convenience and quality over time.
