Sighting 560 Ultra Siting - Berger Creek - Tahoe National Forest

This was only our second time out with “Birdie” (#1010). Imagine our surprise when we pulled into the campground to find another 560 Ultra. We chatted up the owner a bit, who didn’t seem too keen to offer up any personal info. But he did share that he’s had his about 1 1/2 years; that he had it delivered and is very happy with it. Nice enough guy.

Berger Creek is as small campground and by Sunday morning it was just the two 560’s, hanging out.

We had a great time. Can’t wait for our next trip… probably heading to the coast.

Beautiful pics! Cant wait for your next ones...

Love the USFS camping...this one?

Its Sweet camping in the shoulder seasons, isnt it...all cozy in the CampInn...

...much less crowded than summer in the popular places like NPs or best state parks...

Couldn't help commenting on the TV...

While awaiting current family home sale and move to be complete and
The camping to resume,

I'm idly dreaming about new accessories to the GlampInn-

A TV with 4x4 and reliable for next ten years out of the box...

So, is that the "new" Land Cruiser?
I like the look and practical focus, body on frame, TNGA commonality, Toyota quality etc

How's it tow?

Btw, Rather than go OT on your OP, as a Campground Review,
I made a separate thread under towing and tow vehicles...

The Chief Cat Herder here will thank me...

That’s the place. I wish we had a few more days. It was chilly though, and while we had the furnace it was clear that I personally didn’t have enough layers in my “camping wardrobe”..

Close to Bassetts which has a great store and gas station if you’re in need.

I’ll post about our “Elsie” in your other thread.
