How do I sign up for the CICO? Oh and I want a t-shirt although last years faded bad.
....those T-shirts are meant to cheer you up, so you should only wear them on gloomy days....not sunny cheerful ones. How do I sign up for the CICO? Oh and I want a t-shirt although last years faded bad.
I’m wearing it right now.....those T-shirts are meant to cheer you up, so you should only wear them on gloomy days....not sunny cheerful ones.![]()
Yeah, all the smoke coming down from the Canadian wild fires has kept things pretty gloomy around here for the past week too. So wearing it now is certainly appropriate. I'm wearing mine today too, hoping it will chase the smoke away.I’m wearing it right now.
Lame of those guys to say. I've had nothing but compliments on my CI trailer. My husband and I were driving south out of Duluth a couple of weeks ago and we came across three guys towing burleys with their bikes. One of them yelled out: "Look at that rinky-dink trailer!" Ouch!
"Sleep a night in yours, and then let me know how rinky-dink mine is"My husband and I were driving south out of Duluth a couple of weeks ago and we came across three guys towing burleys with their bikes. One of them yelled out: "Look at that rinky-dink trailer!" Ouch!
Hmmm, sounds like perhaps they are over-compensating for something with their trailer size obsession."Sleep a night in yours, and then let me know how rinky-dink mine is"
I still have to wrestle with these two realizations/emotions:
1. There's a trailer format out there for everyone and their subjective needs. It's a little bit human nature that in order to justify our choice, there's a tendency to dismiss other choices as somehow wrong. I may not need to stand up in my trailer. Or have an indoor kitchen. Or an indoor bathroom. But you might. They make stuff for everyone. What I like isn't objectively The Correct Answer. Even among teardrops, I look at little things with the Vistabule that I envy a little bit. Or a Bean. Or whatever. But every build is a series of design compromises and you literally can't have everything in a single build.
2. I'm still actually offended if I'm staying at a busy campground and people DON'T come up to ask about my Camp-Inn!
An exaggerated form of respect! My husband and I were driving south out of Duluth a couple of weeks ago and we came across three guys towing burleys with their bikes. One of them yelled out: "Look at that rinky-dink trailer!" Ouch!
You have to forgive people when they're uninformed. My husband and I were driving south out of Duluth a couple of weeks ago and we came across three guys towing burleys with their bikes. One of them yelled out: "Look at that rinky-dink trailer!" Ouch!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and sometimes an insult is a compliment. At least this cheesehead from Wisconsin thinks so.You have to forgive people when they're uninformed.![]()
