Just Ordered Our 560 Ultra

Brand New here. Marty and Martha. We just ordered ours, now that we've moved from SC back home to KS. To be completed in January 2023. Thanks to Robert and Mary Ellen for the coupon, you saved me $100!
Now the wait begins. I'll be following this board regularly.

Congratulations and like we told you last September when you ran across us, you’ll love it.

And folks, I really mean they ran across us. They were just driving through the campground at Lee State Park and saw us in our campsite. Marty recognized it was a CampInn. We were expecting someone Cary had put in touch with us to come look at Jeremiah about the same time.

Hmmm...I thought that is about a normal gestation period.

I think 5-7 months is probably more repersenative? If my memroy serves me well, we ordered Mid March and accepted delivery in mid November...so this wait might be slightly longer. I suspect parts availability played a role, but that is speculation...

We ordered ours in October and picked it up the following March, so 5 months . But it was ready before that.

Thank you all for the welcomes! Yes, I knew the wait time was growing longer, and I spoke to Cary often. But we had to take care of our home sale, move to Kansas (closer to family) and purchase a home here before we could commit to the Raindrop. That's OK, it'll take us that long to unpack! We sold our big Travel Trailer, and are now discovering places more suitable for Camping, and not designed for RVing.

As a fellow former full size owner (Fleetwood bounders anonymous) once you adjust to small living you'll love the Campinn.

Its wonderful not having to worry about sites that aren't quite level or just a little too small. I don't miss those problems. The only thing I truly miss is the bathroom and private shower. That is all offset by the increase in reliability, simplicity to maintain, and total cost of ownership....not to mention $150 fill ups (when gas was $2.25 a gallon!)

All in all -- I'm more than happy with my upgrade to a downsize :D

Don't forget to share the good sites to see in Kansas!

$150 fillups now at?

I imagine older large and mid-sized RV prices are softening, and campgrounds wont be so packed this summer...we shall see.

I hope so --- I stopped looking at RVs --- I made that mistake once and bought one.

It will be interesting to see - my next trip is coming up soon, I'm curous to see how many empty sites there are. Sadly you lose a night if you cancel a reservation in Indiana -- I suspect MANY people don't go, but don't cancel either.
