Same here...a '12 with the V6 --- Went from 27 to 21 mpg....and literally...you don't feel it.
Will be tying a Rav 4 Hybrid as well....I'm told Towing capacity there is only 2000 lbs, at least rated...but thats probably a little conservative. Saw 1 guy pulling a 2000lb cargo box up the hills in Cali with no problem....so I'm hoping flat landing here Midwest will be uneventful.

I live in the Mid West (Wisconsin) and this my drive to work .... isn't necessarily flat
