Two Burner Griddles

We love to take pizza leftovers camping. Love reheating it on griddle we have but it’s not large enough to do a lot at once. Same for making pancakes or French toast. Would like to get it all cooked, sit down, and eat together.

Anyone have a favorite brand/model that covers both burners?

Looks like you can go really cheap or omg expensive…

Lodge has a flat cast iron pancake griddle that fits perfect. Its heavy but heats up good over propane.

Ditto for the standard Lodge double griddle.

Ours travels on the stove. To me it’s not camping without a griddle breakfast or two, and some carefully stir-fried dinners. It’s easy to make a mess without the side walls of a wok or skillet; I’ve landed on using spatulas in both hands, which mostly works…

I think this is s the one SethB and ThePostman recommended....and so do I. The only trouble with it is, it does seem to be cool on the corners. Maybe I'm too impatient and don't let it warm up enough before I start to use it.

My only wish is that it had a small 'grease port' to guide drippings but inevitably it would be in the wrong place :D when cooking bacon I go through a lot of paper towels, and lose that liquid gold called bacon grease.

Waaiiit a minute…. Doesn’t mine catch the grease off the cooking surface?

It turns out I’m on a different model than @Sweeney. I think this one was the only one Lodge made at the time (1985?). Cast iron really does last!

It still takes a lot of paper towels to cook bacon…

You can find these in different sizes. Its lightweight. You can get a lid. I've been using mine for quite a few years.
It must be said that a big piece of cast iron cookware is quite heavy and doesn’t suit everyone!

Pro: the lodge covers 2 burners and you can cook 6 or 8 pancakes at a time.
Con: the lodge covers 2 burners and you can‘t heat up water for coffee, tea, or dishes until you lift the still hot and very heavy griddle and put it someplace to cool off.

Think I'll give this a try. Easier and more versatile than a Lodge skillet. (Heresy from years of BSA and cowboy cooking over a fire but hey...)

The Lodge pancack/waffle griddle is heavy and too much bacon (is an impossibility?) means grease management gets tricky. Don't turn your back on it...

I have the same one Sweeny, Postman and Seth B recommended and here is how I store it. Up against the backside of the left hand compartment - one edge is secured by an aluminum U channel and the other is a 1/4 x 20 screw knob into a threaded insert (in the plywood).
