Tina teardrop has relocated

We have recently moved from Fresno CA to Lodi CA. We were sad to leave our home of 40+ years but family needed us nearby. We love the area (I and my wife lived here until college, left and and never returned) and just this Friday got to take our teardrop out for the first time in 4 months. We spent a glorious 3 days at Silver Lake, CA (about 8000 ft elevation) just off Highway 88 SW of Lake Tahoe. We had a campground to ourselves (granted the temp dipped to 25 degrees Friday night) and the weather was absolutely sparkling. Abundant sunshine during the day with roaring campfires at night, good food and great companions.
we are now faced with new excursions and camptrips around our new location and are looking forward to possibly meeting up with other teardroppers. Look for a 550 CI TD pulled by a silver 2002 Eurovan. Say hello.

JulieanddDuanw, Welcome to Northern Ca. Lodi is a great location. We have friends in Acampo, Manteca and family in Placerville, Valley Springs and Arnold. You are only an hour away from some great camping in the central Sierras. Some of our favorite spots are along Clarks Fork on the Stanislas River(Hwy 108), Lake Alpine and Mosquito Lakes(HWY 4). We are from the SF East Bay and pass through the Central Valley often on our camping excursions. Have to stop and pick up our supply of saussage for the road at the Lockford Sausage Co in Lockford .....mmmm good. Hope to see you out there when we are on the road.

Hi Julie and Duane,

When we get our TD we look forward to camping out your way! We'll keep an eye out for you!

Enjoy your new home and so glad you were able to get out and enjoy some camping!

Happy Trails!

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who broke into CCR lyrics in my head when I read that, LOL!

Duane, I moved your pin on the big map to Lodi. When you get a chance email us your new address and phone number. Thanks!

Cary

We have very good friends in Plymouth, so know that area very well as we have been down with the teardrop these last 2 years. There is some amazing places to see in the area. Congrats on your move!

I would say great minds think alike but mine wandered off some time ago and never came back
;)

Great to hear from others who are enjoying the northern Sierra Nevadas. Lodi has a great butcher shop Lakewood Meats. You might try them sometime also. We hope to see you in some wonderful campground in the future.
