Frank it was towards the end. It was so good we went back the next night. Only there two days but I'll be sure to hit the Crab Shack next visit.

It is exciting to hear about meeting other camp-inn owners and the sense of community. We really enjoy your chronicles too. Good looking crab!!

Susan saw this Raindrop with a CA plate at the Sequim Wallymart and snapped it's picture. These Camp-Inn sightings are getting more frequent!

Glad to hear you're Innjoying the Dew Drop Inn Chronicles Diane. Looking forward to reading about your adventures.

Good idea Mike, maybe our build numbers in bold red on the galley hatch. Anyone out there want to be the first! By the by Mike, you're only a week away, do you know your trailer # yet.

"Stella" and crew are back in the hood! Jim and Ani are camped at Sequim Bay SP. They came by yesterday and we swapped TTTs and SSs in Talelayo's cockpit. (tall teardrop tales and sailing stories) Jim and Ani are sailors too!

Susan and I were out and about this morning and discovered not one but 2 teardrops in SBSP, well actually one raindrop "Stella" and this Cozy Cruiser teardrop trailer.

When we were in the shopping stage of our teardrop trailer journey we considered the Camp-Inn and Cozy Cruiser. We visited the Camp-Inn factory first and made up our minds right then and there to get our very own, so glad we did! We never did get down to Oregon to see the Cozy Cruiser, this is the first one we've seen, it's a nice trailer but not as nice as...

    # 676 the "Odd Duck Inn" will be on the road 7/23/14. Will be loading up the tv this week-end, as pnutbuttrptty would say "the wait is almost over"

#676, has a nice ring to it Mike, Odd Duck Inn is a great name! No fair, you're picking up in summer, you planned it out perfectly... us, not so perfectly... here is a picture of Dewey's TV the morning of our pickup day.

Enjoy your time at Necedah, don't forget to think up something clever to write on the owners wall of fame. A lot of us just wrote our names, trailer # and pickup date, kinda lame, a missed opportunity indeed.

Thanks for the heads up on the wall of fame Michael I definitly need all the time I can get to think up something clever! I don't even want to think of snow unless it is on a mountain top.

So how'd it go yesterday Mike and Denita?

There are 2 teardrop trailers at Sequim Bay SP today, our's...

... and this cool Canadian built retractable roof "Alto".

I peeked inside cuz no one was around, looks to have a convertible king bed, galley and room for a porta loo, nice! No worries, not gonna trade in the Camp-Inn anytime soon, it's a teardrop but way too heavy for our Mini.

We're camped close by our slip so we can varnish Talelayo's cabin sole (floor), a huge job, we haven't been able to get to it in years so it was looking pretty rough. Not no more! Finished today, just got to be patient and let it dry. So a camping we will go, a camping we will go...

    Michael,

Very nice! You live in such a wonderful area. My sister lives in Ballard. Last year we took a 3 week trip with our teardrop up the coast from San Francisco to Seattle ending at Scenic Beach state park. Wonderful campground and very convenient for visiting my sister. Just jumped on the Bremerton ferry. My sis came out and camped with us for 2 nights (we stayed there 4 nights total). Really enjoyed camping there.

Love Ballard! Lived there in the early 90s, I still think that the Ballard Market has the best clam chowder on the planet, we make a point to stop in and treat ourselves when we're in Seattle. You'll have to camp the Oly Peninsula with your new CI

Ooh! I saw a post about those expanding teardrops. They are really something. That one looks huge in the picture you took. Is it really that big? They seemed nice, but I sure like my little trailer, even though my truck is complete overkill!

That is big work. Congrats on completing it and enjoy your time waiting for it to dry!

I agree. We camped on the Peninsula when we brought my sister up there for graduate school. It was wonderful. Would like to get back there again. Maybe after my new camp-inn is finished. :)

Oh and one more thing. Yep Ballard has some great food for sure. There is a new oyster bar there called the Ballard Annex. Had some really great food there last year. Check it out.

Three! Saw this cute 4 by 8 this morning.

Yeah Sarah, you'd have no problem pulling the a Alto with your Rover. Thanks, spent almost a week on our hands and knees, taping, sanding and varnishing, ouch!

J&L, thanks for the tip on the Ballard Annex, we'll check it out.

Wow, What a great project. Sure feels good when it is done. What a sense of accomplishment. I love projects.
I like hearing about your sightings. The 4x8 is really a cute and unusual one.
I've got to get out in the wild more. My mom still isn't sold on the idea. We were planning a trip over to my brothers over near Spokane but it got too hot and then the fires started. My brother had lots of smoke at his place but the fires were not close to him so far.
I spent some time at our lot at Cowboy Camp. It is beautiful up there but as we get into late July and August it gets too hot to ride up there and the bugs come out in the woods in the daytime and around the campfire at night. I went to bed early and read. I hate bugs but they sure like me.

Pat, come out to the Oly Peninsula, it's cool and bug free(almost) shush, just our secret, don't tell anyone else.
