That's right Frank, you got it. The other radio, AM/FM/Weather is an awesome radio. We got good reception of a radio station in NewYork when we cruised the Bahamas! Very simple to operate and good weather band. It's the Sony SRFW Walkman at C Crane for 35 bucks.

Hey look! They tape the bottom of their windows just like I do! :) (I tape mine for rain though.)

AsheWolf, HECK NO, the trailer is for our dogs, we sleep outside on the ground.

Sarah, we have not had to tape our windows yet. We have driven through some pretty torrential rain storms in Florida and Louisiana but not a drop inside, go figure.

It happens more often with cars with a wider wheel base. Trucks/SUVs pulling our trailers will kick up water at a different spot than the narrower/smaller cars. Pulling with my truck now, we sometimes have the problem. We had it pulling the trailer home after pick up with my dad's truck. When I pulled with my wagon, we had no problem.

What kind of dogs do you have Michaelo ? That Airstream seems kinda big for dogs !

Jenn, I'm choking up here, no really, thanks again.

Michael, you haven't got your trailer yet, but you just wait and see, the most frequent comments from civilians (non Camp-Inn owners) is " Do you sleep in that" and "Nice dog trailer" After awhile you just gotta chuckle. I think it should be a secret Camp-Inn owner greeting kinda like the Moose Lodge member secret greeting (I don't know if the Mooses have a secret greeting but I like to think that they do) "Do you sleep in that" ..." Heck no, that's for my dogs"

I also like the response of, "no silly, this is my miniature horse trailer. You should SEE my miniature horses! They love it in there!"

I think the most common question I get is if it is a tiny Airstream. I usually just reply with a simple, "Nope, better!"

I've seen pictures of that T shirt on Camp-Inn's face book page, it's a very funny shirt, it'd be cool if it was a regular item, I'd buy a few.

You should ask them if they "actually drive that thing or if it is just a toy." :)

PS-I think Smart cars are cute and a blast to drive. Test drove one years ago!

I'm curious about the motivations of the folks that tow fuel efficient vehicles behind their humungous RVs, could it be a bout of guilt what with climate change coming on like a freight train. If they had only discovered Camp-Inn before they had signed on the dotted line, they could have instead used those fuel efficient cars as tow vehicles not towed vehicles and camped guilt free!

But then what would they do with that two or three hundred thousand dollars they would have laying around that they didn't spend on the motor home.

My husband and I recently bought a used 2004 Toyota 4Runner as our TV...before the Camp-Inn came into our lives. Now we see we could have gone with a more fuel efficient, smaller car. We do feel guilty over the low mpg, however it is running better than we thought at 25 mpg -v- the 19 to 21 mpg noted for this vehicle.

I love the idea that a mini can tow a TD, Michael!

....and the 4-runner might do a little better on the hill climbs...

    Hi Frank,

Climbs and stability are two things we think the 4Runner will be great at. I do love the car's handling.

    Low,wide and extra long

Our Mini Clubman is low and wide, so great handling, really sticks to the road and because it's a wagon the extra length helps in the towing department. If we were to full time I would get an S for the added horsepower so we could carry a little more gear. I think the 4 Runner will be a good TV, you'll be able to carry all the gear you need with that rig, heh 25 miles to the gallon is awesome, we met many folks in the big RVs getting way under 10mpg!
