Beautiful! And as soon as I leave this message to thank you for posting those photos I'm off to figure out how far that is from me! Planning on Zion next spring break and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that wasn't as far of a drive as I thought...
 
Highway 12 / Escalante

8 Nights
583 Miles

Little late posting this. Back in September we did a really great 8 nights along Highway 12.

1 Night up near Bryce on the way down, 2 nights at the Shooting Star in Escalante where my parents met us and stayed in a rented Airstream and then 5 really relaxing nights at Calf Creek Campground.

Some nice trips and parks to visit. Have not been to Escalante for a long time now - but were impressed with the area when we were there.
 
Clover Springs

3 Nights
115 Miles

Great little get away to a nearby BLM campground in the Great Basin desert. Very relaxing.
