Stove Stove

I'm going with a protective layer of bacon grease. Fry it hot enough and the little spatters are atomized. Perfect!...

Make sure to wear a shirt when doing this.

This is my first post! I'm just a "wannabe" right now, but we have our eye on the 560 :)

Something I've been wondering about the stove is that I'm 5'2" and it looks like the stove sits far back on the counter. Any other "shorties" out there find it's hard to reach or see over when cooking?

I'm 5'0" and don't have a problem reaching the stove in ours, which is street model. I do have a collapsible step stool, so if I am cooking with a stock pot or we are parked on an incline, I can easily see what's cooking. ;)

Can't do SUV height...too high for me.

I am 5'2" and love the SUV height. The reach to the burner is a little longer then a traditional stove. For my cooking style has not been a problem. I don't plan on standing there trying to make hard candy, watching temps and stirring for a long time.

The Camp Inn stove is the best. I wish I had a gas range in my house. I have yet to use it in windy conditions but it sounds like there are effective ways to deal with that problem. I also use the Cobb grill which is great for two or three people and couldn't do with out the Dometic fridge.
