SOLD Showroom Demonstrators For Sale!

Cary Winch

Camp-Inn Staff
Hey all,

Here is a chance (very rare at that) to get a brand new older model year Camp-Inn right now. We updated our two showroom demonstrators. These are the units that were in the showroom. In the past we always turned retired showroom demo units in to loaner/trial units. But, since we no longer have a show schedule we realized these two units are complete virgins and have never left our building. The tires have never rolled on pavement. So, we decided these would be the most desirable to sell.

So, we are offering them up for sale on Ebay right now. Here are the postings for both trailers:

Let us know if you have any questions at all.

Thanks!
Cary

Jean,

Right now if it were ordered today it would be completed in August, not started in August. Still, that is a ways off.

Hey Cary,

This unit does not have the electric brakes, correct?

Also, since it is a 2011 model, can you explain what is different from a current Ultra model?

I see the hinges but anything else?

Thanks,
Jay

Jay,

Neither unit has electric brakes. We don't put electric brakes on showroom units because it is not something you can see.

We can install brakes on the trailer before it leaves as an extra charge.

There are a great number of changes between a 2011 and a 2014, we make small improvements constantly. Mostly small details like different exterior screws and such. The big differences on them would be:
1) Ultra door hinges
2) Door seal/strike arrangement (560 has been updated, 550 could be too)
3) Upper duffel shelf door shape/arrangement.
4) TVs are LCDs and current ones are LED backlit.
5) Tables are wooden structures, current ones are lightweight composite.
6) Hatch seal/gutter arrangement.
7) The 550 front awning rail for the Alcan has visible screws, current ones do not have screws.

Soooo...if you're selling the demos, does that mean there's a chance that the #500....?

There's a better chance of us actually seeing Spring here in Wisconsin this year... ;)

Stop whining. We're like 8 days past the midpoint of winter.

Here in the high country of NC we had perhaps our coldest January on record according to the experts. At 4000 ft elevation we had 11 nights that went below zero. Often accompanied by high winds. Not quite Wisconsin but dang.

That video is hilarious! I have to show Mick. He and Laddy have been building some r/c tracked vehicles (small ones), but he wants to build a plow (didn't get it finished for this storm! Oh, and we are no WI either, but today was the first day in 11 days we have been above freezing and we are at 600 ft!). He will love that!

BTW, Sarah, before you show your two "kids" the video, that particular remote control jeep with plow "starts" at $379.00. And that's USD, not Canadian.

Yes, I actually price checked it.

That can't be Frank...there weren't any Margaritas involved.

Betsey, you're breaking my heart. I mean, you guys have soooo many CIs, your museum could stand a little extra space. You'd hardly even notice it was gone.

Honest.

Sue

Sue...don't look at me! I only have one CI...an old, tired, very bare bones (compared to most) CIs but one that is full of great memories & is well loved!

Nice try! I might not notice if #500 was gone, but I can assure you that someone would. ;)
