Saco Me Weekend Trip

I finally got out of town for a weekend up in Maine!!! I live in CT along the shoreline, but the mountains call to me. And my 07 FJ

I felt ridiculous with all the crap strapped to the FJ. But it worked out. Me, my 2 lady friends and all the necessities.

Camping along the Saco for a few nights and a whole day floating down with adult beverages was the perfect recipe!

The Saco is a nice float. I haven’t done it in years as it got a bit to crowded and rowdy for my wife and I. I hope it has calmed some but from reports I get from my hiking friends the White Mountains are seeing a lot of disrespectful people leaving trash and defacing scenic areas. Too many people who are tired of social distancing and don’t seem to care about the people or the areas they are visiting.
