Any time Steve. Larry sent me 2 resistors and I only installed 1 to see how slow it would make the fan. I think I am going to install the second one also to slow it down even more. It is easy to do and if the results arn't what I want it is easy to reverse.
You can't complain about the customer service at Fantastic vent.

I will second that. Larry and the guys over at Fantastic are the best. I compliment them all the time on how much we like doing business with them. Truly a model company in our eyes.

Keep in mind there are two versions of these fans used in our trailers. The older ones like Bruce's will have the stock Fantastic fan motor in them. That is why he is still wanting to slow it down more even with the one resistor. For units that are only a few years old or newer they are a special model made by Fantastic for us. The motor is much slower. One resistor will slow it down to nearly a stop. The way to tell which one you have in the trailer is by the color of the fan body up on the roof of the trailer. If it is white it is the older "stock" fan setup. If the fan body is gray it is the Camp-Inn variant with the slower motor.

I was wondering about that. I thought there was something wrong with the camp inn fantastic because it is so so much slower than the one I installed in my homebuild teardrop. Actually I want to speed it up!
