New toys I want for my 560

I looked at those pictures last night and they have just about made up my mind to go with a Northern Breeze. In comparison to an Ez Up the setup time may be longer but the benefits are greater with better weather protection all around plus the bug netting.

How have you found the netting fits around the opening for the CI and still allow for easy access?

Mcnugit - those pics are great! Thanks! Helps me make my decision! (I just LOVE these forums! Thanks Evan!) So helpful!

Ok, 2 more things - questions really...

1. I've seen a picture of a stainless steel paper towel holder mounted in the kitchen hatch lid, but can't find the pic and who posted it - did a search. Can someone help me out with a link to the pic and any info. about it?

2. We have a small overflow refrigerator in our RV that we no longer use and we also have a built in invertor in our mini-van. So, instead of a freezer or cooler, we've decided to carry it along in the van and it'll be cooling while we go down the road. Then 2 options - we can either leave it in the van or put it on the side table and plug it into shore power. We plan on having as little ice as possible - only for drinks IF necessary. Any thoughts on this?

The perfect paper towel holder is a good product. Marty installed last fall on the Uff Da Inn.

Found one source at $22. Very spendy, considering I paid $10.

Many on the teardrop and tiny travel trailer forum, many members are handy and have crafted various wind proof modifications. Basically owners have crafted a blum line device that draps over the top of the hanging roll, which holds the towel in place.

I just purchased one that Craig said is perfect for the curve of the hatch...it is stainless/chrome finish...about $15.00...looking into seeing if we can buy in bulk. Don't remember the name. Problem is most things like that only have certain run time...then they change the design or discontinue it & then you can't get them anymore...that's what happened to the one I ordered last April...it was like the one that Evan has...I was charged for it but it never shipped because they were out of stock & weren't getting more in (discontinued). I was never able to get the charges reversed. NOT a happy camper! They don't make them anymore.

Sorry to hear you got jipped, Betsey. If you can find the right one it makes sense to include that as an option - since everybody needs one.

Linda - the only thing that one is missing is a weight to keep the towels from unrolling in the wind. But, you could easily add that yourself. Search for "paper towel" on the forum and you will see lots of pictures of people custom weights.

Here's one:

P.S. Good job on posting the clickable link. :)

A built-in paper towel holder would be a nice thing to add as a "standard". I've been studying pictures of people's Camp Inn kitchens, and I don't think I've seen one yet that didn't have a paper towel roll above the "sink side" OR a roll of paper towels sitting on one of the shelves.

It's something everyone would use.
