Long Haul begins

Wow, what a great trip. Hope you have recovered from the horse incident. You have covered a lot of country.

No, my leg is killing me. It needs to be elevated which is impossible when I driving. I had just finished physical therapy on my shoulder from a crash on my bike. I will have to PT that again.

We have driven 3 straight days from Spokane, WA to Paducah, KY. Day 1 was to Billings, Montana at 600+ miles. Day 2 was to Sioux Falls, SD at 720 miles and included a stop at Wall Drug. Day 3 was 800 miles with a stop in Kansas City at LC 's Barb-B-Q for lunch, to Paducah, KY. Tomorrow we will be home after 480 miles. We should miss rush hour in Atlanta.

After I get home and download pics from my camera, I will post some here.

I'm sorry you are not fully recovered. It is hard to enjoy traveling when you are in pain. I hope you are feeling better soon. good Luck.

Hey with all that driving (sitting) after a bruise to the leg, make sure you don't have a hematoma and potential for blood clot. Might want your family medical provider to check it out. My brother In law got a large hematoma on his thigh after a fall while on vacation and a week later he was in the hospital for a pulmonary embolism! Better to be safe than sorry.

I have been reading all your camp ground postings. Thanks for adding it all to the site. We are hoping to go out west later this fall and really appreciate the information you have shared. Thanks again.
