It Fits!

Yep, having an empty cabin to climb into after a long days drive, without having to unload it would sure be nice, especially for one night stops along the way on a road trip, or even just rest stops when you need 40 winks before getting back on the road. That rack & Thule cargo box sounds like the ideal solution to keep things clean, dry, out of the elements, and out of the cabin. Might have to consider another investment.;)
I have a Yakima Skybox17 thats big enough to hold a lot of stuff on top of the Alltrack; NB12 used as screen room tent, Sunbrella, CI OEM side tent and pvc frame, sand mats,
folding camp chairs, tables, fishin poles, hiking sticks, etc. Gets pretty full but not too heavy.

Easy to just leave locked and have the stuff handy for the full Glamping Experience but still out of the way and nice not have to empty out the bedroom when you wanna pull over and take in a rainbow and afternoon snooze somewhere.

Not cheap, but well worth it. I bought the "big boy" because I wanted a way to move and hide the Gazelle. Misson accomplished. It lies flat inside...the chairs and big side room tentfit perfectly, and I'm still not full --- though probably getting close to weight limits of bars. Mine are a little flimsy.

From a milage perspective, I haven't done any deep analysis on the topic but I'm not loosing anything significant, but I only get 20mpg anyway...on a good day.
