How fast can I go towing?

I like 55 mph. What is the hurry?
I'm going to reply to my own post.

I usually drive 55 but am not afraid to step it up. On my recent Hwy 101 trip where the speed limit is 55 I steeped it up to 85 for about five miles. It was like it wasn't even there. But the place I choose to do it had new pavement and was very smooth even though it was rolling hills. It was early morning and I had the road all to myself. The sides were cut low and I could see any animals. It was a safe time and place.

One thing that allowed me to do this was I removed a lot of the tongue weight. It was slightly over 200 and I reduced it to about 165. I did this by moving as much stuff to the back and actually put 35 pounds of lead behind the axle under the storage in the galley.

Was that your ammo storage, or do you collect used wheel weights?;)

I do carry ammo but not 35 pounds. The weight is lead training belts.
