Table Extension How Do You Store The Table Extender For Travel?

The front storage is about the same size on a 560 as a 550. It is narrower but deeper, the total volume comes out about the same. The furnace option affects the lower 560 storage space much more than on a 550 because it is a totally different layout. But, the furnace does does not affect the upper 560 storage nearly as much as it does on the 550.

We threw in the towel too. I made a sleeve for the table extension which sits on the table on the counter just fine. I made another one for the side table too, since that and cooler both get rub marks.
Keeps everything from getting scratched as we travel those wonderful back roads.

Great way to cushion and protect it.

I put small velcro strips 1 1/2" x 1/2" (I used clear velcro) to the galley wall above the cooler and corresponding strips on the extension. I sits across the cooler walls. Simple and does not affect anything else. It's always handy if I want to use it and never in the way.

I screwed a 1x2 to the bottom of the big table. It faces you when it is folded and stored (use screws that are not too long!).
I drilled 4 quarter inch shallow holes in that wood piece, and glued in some 1/4" rare earth earth magnets, flush with the wood's surface. The extension is then placed on the wood and it holds just fine.
