We had a great time camping at the Corps of Engineers Thomson Causeway campground this weekend. Our first time there - we heard about it thru Jerry & Tina here some years ago. It's right on the Mississippi River in Thomson, IL, with several loops - many on the water, and most with great views. All sites are concrete slabs, and I believe all have electric. Shower and bath facilities are excellent.
