I've been visiting this park (with brief side trips to Yellowstone) the last few years. The wildlife and landscapes are nothing short of spectacular. This year (for the first time ever) I made a spring trip as well as a fall trip. I recently booked a trip for next spring and will very likely try to make another fall visit.
The day I arrived in May it was snowing though not at all problematic for driving. Here's a short video.

The bears in the photos are the famous grizzly 399 and her yearling cub Spirit. Sadly 399 was hit and killed this past October outside the park on highway 89. Her cub has not been seen since. There is a good chance the cub can survive as it is large and very healthy. The cub would have been kicked out shortly after leaving the den next spring. Hopefully (s)he will be seen next spring.
Here's a view from Oxbow Bend. That is the Snake River running through with Mount Moran in the background.
A young male moose.
Fall is rut season for the moose and elk. I went back in late September. I camped at Gros Ventre which is know for moose activity. Moose tend to wander through the campground routinely as it is near the Gros Ventre River where moose like to feed.
Theses next two photos were taken just feet from my actual space one morning.
