Has anybody any experience of the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec. Its the end of the International Appalachian mounting trail and we are planning a trip in September.

Benn and Meribeth just got back from there. I'm not sure if they posted any details on the forum but you can probably search and find someone who's posted about it. We plan on that trip next summer.

We really enjoyed Gaspe! -- well the eastern section. The country side is beautiful and the people were great. We didn't really like the area along the St Lawrence on the way to Quebec. I'll list links below to where we stayed there and on the way there. We went to the Miquasha Park to see the fossils. Benn will post some pictures tomorrow.

Indian Head -- the couple running it are great. This is their first season. http://www.teteindien.com/?lang=en

Camping by the bay -- this is a small family campground with beautiful views. There's a lobster man next door you can buy from (if it's still the season). http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/Products/C/CampingByTheBay.aspx

Both of these belong to Passport America -- so they are half price if you're a member.
