Cross country travel guides

We are awaiting the birth of our baby raindrop in December. Tacoma, Wa to Necedah, Are we crazy to try this? Winter in the West is our time for travel and we dont want to miss the season.
 
AllStays (Camp and RV) is a great app for finding campgrounds. One thing to be aware of said:
I'd recommend All Stays too (if you're looking for a place for the night in unfamiliar territory).
