Jim and Sue L.
Junior Ranger
We've been having trouble keeping ice in the cooler on long travel days (and if you ask Jenn, she'll tell you we do lots of those). Usually, we can get three days out of a block, but lately they have lasted barely two. Hotter days or lower ice temps, don't know the cause, but need some assistance.
We considered buying a cooler cozy, but have heard some negative vibes on that, so we bought a couple of yards of insulation fabric "Insulbright" and made our own cover. (I won't show a pic, 'cause I can't sew worth a darn. Looks like Frankenstein's monster in a cotton onezy.)
We'll give it a road test on our long haul (yeah, another one) Saturday. We'll be gone a month so that should be a good enough test.
Later and...
Camp on,
Sue and Jim
