Campinn campers

Thinking about buying a tear drop camper
was wondering if there is anyone in the
new orleans area that has one
so i might be able to check it out in person
i have heard they are the best

If you e-mail Cary at CampInn he will put you in touch with someone in your area willing to show their trailer. Linda, the person he put me in touch with was very good at showing their trailer and really helped me make my decision. But beware, I went right home and ordered mine.

Be warned. Once you have seen one you will enter a trance-like state during which you will sell all your worldly possessions and spend everything for a Camp-Inn.

Evan is right. The day after we saw one in person we ordered one. Less than a week later I sold my Harley, you can only drive one toy at a time and the dogs don't fit on the Harley.

Dont know about sellin my Harley
its one of a kind paint job
i would really like to find a used one
so everyone please keep youe eyes open for me
Thanks

I want to thank everyone for all the info they have here
after 3 days of a lot of reading
i decided today to order
a 550 special
Have a great day ^ 5

Wow! That was fast Lee, you bought one site unseen, you don't fool around do you. Camp-Inns really do sell themselves, even online! Congratulations!

I'm with you Lee. Have yet to see one in person but know I've got a great trailer. It is tough to wait though. Three months in three to go. Does give you plenty of time to buy the "must have" stuff.

The wait will go faster than you think. I've been waiting almost ten months because I didn't want mine to be finished in the middle of winter. I wanted to pick it up at the factory and can't travel the mountains in winter. I'm really looking forward to May 2.
Congratulations and have a great time shopping and planning.

Congratulations!

"must have" stuff... that's the fun part of the wait time. As you wander through the camping aisles of your local stores, you look at those items and think to yourself "I 'must have' this <gadget> for the 550"

And then you, like me, start what has been referred to as the 'nesting materials', as you await the birth from the Nest, aka, the Camp-Inn factory floor.

Everyone's nesting materials is different; for some, it's simply consolidating all of their existing camping materials; for others, it's getting teardrop- or camping-themed bedding for the cabin, and towels for the galley. Some people pick a theme, and run with it! everyone is different on their 'must have'; but I think just about everyone succumbs to the 'gathering of the nesting material' in some fashion. Feel free to share your nesting material during your wait period.

I'll tell you 1 of the things I 'had to have' while I waited--identical french press and thermos mugs for the 550... even though I already had those exact ones in the house. Simply so they can be stored in the galley and not shuffled from kitchen to galley when going camping.

We ordered our 500 Special sight unseen....
I looked on the Camp Inn site and CAN NOT BELIEVE there may actually be another teardrop out there in the wilderness with no sink, water tanks, or gas!!! Is it true?
We are not alone.

You will be happy with whatever you have ordered.
They really are super duper and I can't wait til our camping season begins again in the fall.
(Too many bugs in Florida thru the summer for us).
