Actually the temps have been near perfect, 60s and low 70s during the day and mostly 50s overnight. Last night it got down into the 40s. Now
that we're in Northern California we are going to experience lower temps but with our furnace it's not uncomfortable.
The Bodega Bay forecast calls for low 70s and 0 percent chance of precipitation for the next 3 days, pretty nice!
We did have that week of storms that brought all that wind and rain but even then it was in the 50s night and day.
The campgrounds have been blissfully empty, so we've been enjoying all this great camping all by our lonesome, just the way we like it. Let's see hmm do we miss the roaring generators... nope, the screaming kids running through our campsite...nope, too hot to sleep temps... nope, driving all day in traffic because all the campgrounds are full and you can't get in... nope.
We haven't camped during the on season in 20 years. By Memorial Day we are safely home and don't venture out again until after Labor Day.
The exception to that is the North West owners gathering witch we attended last year and hope to attend this year. But that's it, after the gathering Dewey goes into storage and Susan and I go cruising.
