SOLD Brand New 560 Ultra For Sale

Cary Winch

Camp-Inn Staff
Hey all,

I have a customer who ran into a problem. He had an unexpected death in the family and ended up incurring a great deal of expenses because of it. His 560 Ultra is recently completed and sitting here waiting to be shipped. He has decided this morning to cover the expenses by selling his new 560 before it leaves here. I canceled the shipping on it and am getting the word out it is for sale.

He has payed for the unit already and has payed for shipping it. He is willing to pay for either the shipping or sales tax due from the money he has already spent on this to who ever buys it.

With our backlog right now today being the very end of August for completions and growing fast this should be a good solution for someone wanting one much sooner.

It is a 2010 model (just completed less than two weeks ago).
It has for options:
Electric brakes, air conditioning, LP furnace, 15" TV/DVD, Large battery, Fantastic fan, sunroof, Internal battery isolator, back up lights, solar hookup, tank/battery monitor, rear bumper, Alcan cover, door screens, galley windscreens, spare tire, dining table and SS cooler stand.

It has for accessories (these can be deleted out yet since they are unattached to the trailer):
Stainless steel cooler, AC/DC fridge, 2 side tents, storage cover, LP gas meter and a set of 25' extension hoses.

About all this unit does not have is the SUV off road option, parking brakes and a roof rack.

This cost $24,038. He would like to get close to that if possible but willing to give some on it for expediency sake.

Let me know if anyone is interested and I will get you in contact with him. It can be picked up here or shipped.

Cary

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Thanks for the info. Cary and for anyone watching this forum - we bought it! ...well, we're in the process anyway - finalization hopefully this next week.

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

WOW! Congratulations, Linda! It's been a long time coming!

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Oh yeah!!! Thanks ya'll! We're so excited we're totally BESIDE ourselves! It came sooner than we expected - the house still hasn't sold but God provided a way to get exactly what we wanted sooner than expected! Now if I can just get everything finalized and get delivery before Spring Break in March - we have 3 grandaughters coming for a week and since we live in our 5th wheel RV in an RV park it's going to be our overflow bedroom as well as for traveling. We'll park it beside our RV (we have about 1/4 acre of oak woods beside and behind us with plenty of room. I told Bill if I ever need a dog house, he's going to get the 5th wheel and I'm getting the Raindrop! :)

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Ok, it's a DONE DEAL! It's in our name, all paper work is finalized, bank is overnighting his check to the seller today. Now for the long wait on shipping...must leave town the end of Feb. for a week to help our son move, then back here the first part of March...delivery hopefully will be soon after that. Just in time for a Spring and Summer full of fun! We already have a fall trip planned back to Necedah and the factory gathering!

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Delivery would be easier if you drove to Camp Inn instead of waiting.

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Jean,
No it wouldn't! Shipping has already been paid for by seller and besides with all this bad weather the ice and salt would ruin it! I'm not in that big a rush!

Look at it this way...if you were to order a teardrop today, you would not be able to get it until September...Now, doesn't that make the beginning of March seem like no time at all? :) :) :)

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Besides, we have to be out of town for over a week helping our son move into a new apt. and bringing some things in storage back from Arkansas to Texas - I don't have time to go! I'm praying it doesn't come while I'm gone out of town! Hear that Cary?

2nd week in March for delivery would be perfect for us! a-hum...

Wow, I am sure glad I put my order in when I did.

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Joan,
It was a complete surprise to us that we were able to get ours. A previous owner was unable to take delivery due to a death in the family and sold his to us, so we didn't have the wait everyone else has. Thought it would be a few years before it could happen...but this worked out! Last week I didn't know I was going to get one and now it'll be here in a few weeks! Whodathunkit?

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Linda,

I am very envious that you are going to get your CI in March. I ordered mine in December but requested not to pick it up until July when I am going to WI for a family wedding. I think I could have gotten it sooner at the time.

I am glad I did not wait until after the New Year to make up my mind.

I am following your shopping adventures closely since I will soon have to begin mine. Have fun!

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Joan,
OMG! I couldn't STAND IT, knowing that I had it there for SIX months! Just think of all the fun you're missing out on!

What are you getting a 550 or 560? I'm having fun shopping and making my mind up about stuff - not that I'm going to be able to get some of it right now - some I have to but others can wait (like the tent.) Looks like we're going to have some unexpected expenses coming up on our home in Arkansas, but that'll pass soon, hopefully.

I posted a list of things I want to get possibly if you want to follow that. One thing I didn't list that we are definately going to get is a trailer dolly. Our "home" is our 5th wheel RV on a large campsite in Texas and we want to put the Raindrop beside/behind it for overflow when company comes and it will be impossible to get where we want it by backing it in with the van, so we'll unhook, hook it to the dolly and push it back, then pull it back forward and hook on to the van. Hubby's 70 and neither of us need extra strain, so this'll do the trick. Found it at Cabela's. Might want to ck. them out!

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

I don't think they started building it yet. Cary put it on the schedule so that it would be done when I am ready to pick it up.

I am getting the 560 Ultra. I am making lists of what I need vs what I want. The 'want' list will be purchased over time. Since I am new to this, I want to go on a couple of trips before I make up my mind for the things on the want list like a canopy/tent. Right now I am leaning toward the the Eureka.

My driveway is on a an incline so I don't think a trailer dolly will work for me unless it is motorized (Very expensive.) I cannot keep the camper outside since it is against HOA rules. I will either need to put it into a storage space or become very good at backing up into my garage.

All part of the adventure.

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

Joan,
Since we live full time in an RV we've already figured out some of the things you're going to find out when you start "camping". That's why I know some of the things I already want.

Here's a couple of options about backing in - back it in the best you can and since you'll have a double care garage I'm assuming you do?), put it where you can, then shuffle it over with this dolly - it's very reasonable and you wouldn't be on an incline when you do it. Storage is VERY expensive compared to the cost of this dolly - $109 - $149. Here's a link to it. You'll have to copy and paste it.:

Did you see the oven I talked about on another post? If I was building right now I'd see if I could get Cary to eleminate the 2 burner propane stove and put this oven in - which has a 2 burner propane stove as well as the oven. It might not fit, but he told me that they're reconfiguring the kitchen, revamping it. If they put a stainless steel back behind it it should work and it can be "wired in" to receive the propane like normal.

I have a pretty good sized toaster oven that I'll take and put on the table if I feel I need it. BUT, the biggy that I KNOW I'm taking is my Xpress Redi-set-Go - I use it all the time now for tons of stuff - pancakes, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, pizza, eggs, muffins, grilled cheese, hamburger patties - very small and light wt. too.

Re: Brand new 560 Ultra for sale

I do have a two stall garage (although I will need to do some major cleaning before I get my trailer.) The suggestion about the dolly is a good one.

I am not a cook or a baker. For weekend trips, I will probably prepare things ahead of time like cold salads or things that can be heated up in a sauce pan.

As for longer trips that I would like to do in the future, I may need to expand my equipment list to include electric grills or toaster ovens.

Who knows, I might get the dutch oven bug after hanging out at enough teardrop gatherings.

Again, it will all be a learning experience.
