Battery Storage?

I'm thinking of putting my CI into a storage unit this winter. Currently I keep the trailer in my garage and plugged into an electrical outlet to trickle charge the battery. The storage unit has no electricity.

Question - what's the best method to maintain my battery?
 
The best method is to pull the battery out and put it in your garage on the trickle charger.

Another possibility is to get a small solar panel and connect it to the trailer positioning the panel so it gets some sun on most days, but this can be difficult depending on the details of the storage unit.
