Susan_Alan, are those the folding ones? My parents have those too. Not sure how much they have used them yet though. They took them up to their boat and keep them there. I look forward to trying them one day!

    Yes, Sarah...they are GREAT!!!
Perfect for taking out on a 3 hour paddle when you're out with the teardrop. Take an hour to look at the website ORU KAYAK.
They are only 26 pounds each and are easy to assemble.

    taking the plunge!

    Hi Everyone,
Just had to share the news.... Bob and I have just mailed in our deposit check for a 560 Ultra to be picked up in March next year. Both exciting and a little scary. Big investment but we are sooooo looking forward to camping again. We have made list after list, pulled out the old camping equipment to see what's left after letting the sons borrow it over the last two years, checking out campground sites, and just getting really excited. March 2015 seems so far away. Looking forward to seeing the build pictures too. Well, thanks for listening. Had to share the excitement!

Congratulations! It's going to be a long autumn for you but once the new year comes and the build pictures are available the time will start flying.

Good choice GinaNBob, we just picked up our 560 a few weeks ago. It will seem like forever but this forum will keep you from going too crazy while waiting.
