SOLD 2014 Camp-inn 550 Ultra In New Hampshire

Sara, Can I respectfully suggest a free email you can use as a burner? Just post in forum as you have and conduct biz on that and by phone once you trust yhe other party.

Then close it, to avoid future spam.

This xenforo software is tricky to learn and manage notifications in comparison to personal email and old school voice...
You can take your time after sale
to become an old hand here, but at your pace...
Ask the moderator to walk you thru it.
Thank you. Good idea..

I already talked to the new owner today. They are really thrilled!

Cary
Yes, he and his wife seemed very happy, and I was glad the trailer went to a good home. Thanks for all your help and advice, Cary. I'll still be lurking on this site to try to get more of a feel for how this works. It's pretty fun and very informative, plenty of supportive like-minded people.
Thank you.
Sara

The trailer sold off a Craigslist ad. I wasn't expecting such a quick sale, was enjoying the forum here. Now I'm trying to figure out how to change my Camp-Inn ad to "SOLD." I just don't see how to do it. Can someone help? And thank you for all your input and assistance. Thank you thank you!!
Sara

Taken care of Sara. Congrats on your sale!

Just to close this thread, I'm the one who bought it. It was as close to a spontaneous purchase of such a size as I'll ever come, for sure. But I had begun to do some teardrop research and this was an hour away and I had to jump on it. I realized that at 6'2", a teardrop with an internal kitchen, eating area, and bath was just trying to do too much, and that a comfy bed and clamshell galley was all I wanted. Bingo. My kids are 14,12,9, and so I anticipate taking our new Camp-Inn on family trips (kids in a tent), one-on-one's with each kid, and then, eventually, road trips with my wife. We're cyclists, so I can see hopping around the country, finding a place to stay, and seeing the area up close by bike. It will be nice to not have to set up a tent and kitchen every night.

Sara was such a pleasure to deal with and I'm glad I was able to make the purchase as smooth and easy as possible for her. She and her friend even drove it to my house an hour away! (I didn't have a plate yet).

I've been experimenting with the best methods for pine sap removal - WD40, had sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, goo gone (they all work about the same, what I'm not sure about is what I can safely scrub/scrape with - any advice?) - and as soon as those spots are removed it will get a good polishing. Everything is in great shape, and a little airing out, wiping down, and odor sponges have it smelling fresh. Now working on adding the rear hitch for a bike rack, a few small repairs, and figuring out how to upgrade the wiring harnesses on our vehicles. Maybe brakes too. First shake-down trip is in two weeks with my son, can't wait.

Someone on another forum recommended Dr. Bronners SALSUDS Bio Cleaner for pine rosin.

I cant' help with the tree sap -- but I can say welcome to the family :D

You'll find a wealth of knowledge in these forums, and of course a pretty good rag-chewing session if you want :D The camper look right at home in your photo!

I camp often in pine woods. To get the globs off gently I apple a little bug and tar remover then pick at them with my thumbnail. It’s very gentle.
