Long story short I've been outsourced at the job so retirement is a couple years early! This memorial weekend was my rotation to work, much nicer spending the weekend Camping!! We went to Baker Lake Campground west of MPLS very nice campground. Friends visited us and we also went out visiting good to see old friends. We used to live in the Twin Cities for 15 yrs previous to 1999. All went well, a few organizational to get sorted out will come with time. This forum does an awesome job of tips and tricks.

I bet the fireworks in the back of your Camp Inn will wake-up the couple snoozing next to you!

Four trips total so far with a total of 16 nights has kept me busy. After MPLS we did a weekend at NF Franklin Lake near Eagle River, week trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes MI and Mackinac Island and last weekend in Springfield IL Sangchris Lake SP. Already spotted a 550 camping there!!

I need to get up to sleeping bear -- One of my work colleagues came to the USA from Germany, and he was insistent that he got there before he went back home. Apparently it is special enough to have gotten the attention of some one 1/4 the way around the globe....

We agree. We're not far from there now - Young SP near Boyne City, right on Lake Charlevoix. Beautiful country.

No they were the neighbors, I didn’t even notice the shopping bag with the fireworks. Amazing what you can see with digital pictures and how you can blow them up.
Not like the old 35mm cameras

Like this picture at Klienke Campground on Lake Michigan I think it is a naval ship Cruiser?
