    Adventure Begins Tomorrow

And you are on your way "there and back again". Kudos! Love the name. I am a "Ring" nutcase and read the dear professor's books at regular intervals...and that includes the often overlooked masterpiece, "Silmarillion" in which all creation began with a song. What a wonderful mind.... And what...

    Dividers in drawer

Of course you like things organized your way - especially in the kitchen and especially, especially if you do all the cooking. Jim tried to put in his two cents when I was first organizing our galley and I said (knife in hand),"Who cooks?" He was smart enough to back away. Gotta love the guys...

    Galley Dining Table

Another part of the country is interested....me. The present work space is just fine for down dirty and fast meals, but sometimes I'd like to do something fancy, which requires more space. Your extension is interesting. Would love a pic 'cause detailed descriptions don't compute for my little...

    Is Having A/c A Must?

Looks like it's pretty much covered in these posts...but I can't resist adding my bit. We don't have AC and carry a small ceramic heater just in case. The fan works perfectly and solves the heat problems except for one time camping in Death Valley in the off season (off as in all the camp hosts...

    Yep, another blogger

My memories are from childhood and wonderful they are - not the faded adult type so similar to that senior prom corsage crushed between the pages of well loved poetry book, but fresh and brilliantly colored they way only a child can see. Aaaa.... Actually, we camped because we were always...

    Silk Side Tents?

Silk tents. And what handy cars with all those boxes. Some of those boxes could be filled with exotic nibblies, cool intoxicating beverages, ostrich feather fans (for those warm evenings)and, of course. those often mentioned, always dreamt of, handsome young men to wield those fans....Aaaahhhh...

    California Dreaming

As a native Californian we are lucky to have some great parks that are along the Pacific coast and just a few hours away from home here in the SF Bay Area. A few that we have been to in the last few years with our CI are, Morro Bay SP, San Simeon SP (near Hearst Castle), Julia Pfiefer Burns SP...

    Galley Back Wall Protection

I use orange clean and a soft scrub sponge. Works real well, but Bar Keepers Friend is great for that hard job. We're all OC over the new baby. We've been running around for a few years now and it still hasn't worn off. Love it when she's all shiny. Sue

Sausage with potatoes and green beans.

Yeah, that's seriously yummy looking. Try this: toss in some red bell pepper, garlic, dash of red pepper flakes and sprinkle with fresh grated Romano cheese. And a nice glass of red wine, of course. Camp On, Sue

When it comes right down to it, Jenn always hits it on the nose. The only right way is your way. But I still say the sprayer is fun. Sue
