    The "Dew Drop Inn" Chronicles

Now in all fairness Gina and Bob I normally restrict my posts to teardrop trailer related sightings. I wouldn't normally post pictures of The Hawaiian Chieftan that's in dry dock today or the antique auto meet at Fort Worden State Park this past weekend... ...unless prompted of course...

    Joshua Tree?

We visited many National Parks with Fred our golden retriever/Irish setter furry bundle of joy. It was very frustrating because we could only do short hikes in the early morning while temps were low so Fred wouldn't bake in our van. Going all that way to the Grand Canyon or Yosemite and being...

    Joshua Tree?

We were there in early February, nice weather, low 70s during the day and 40s overnight. A heads up for that time of year, the campground fills up during the long weekends so reservations are a must if you want to stay more than a few days. I just checked the forecast for the...

    Joshua Tree?

We camped at Black Rock Canyon campground last winter and loved it. Black Rock and Indian Cove are the only campgrounds that have water and take reservations October through May. They don't take reservations now because there's no demand, it's really really hot there now, no really! No national...

    Double Cut Keys?

During our orientation at Camp-Inn Marty strongly suggested that we keep the locks lubed up with a graphite in fluid lubricant. We found this stuff in a run of the mill hardware store. Used the stuff on Dewey and now Dizzy, locks always worked great. Michael

    Brake schematic?

No Pat you're right, our route to bring Dewey now Sunnyside home to the PNW wasn't the shortest but it was the warmest! It was 5 degrees when we left Necedah and 85 degrees when we got to Tallahassee. Our TV the morning of our orientation at Camp-Inn. Ochlockonee River State Park...

"Sunnyside" is a great name! Sunnyside is a waterfront park in my hometown of Toronto. I learned to sail there at The Toronto Sailing and Canoe Club. It has a lakefront bike/ ped path and a very cool lakefront dance hall left over from the WW2 era where we used to go see bands like the B52s...

    The "Dew Drop Inn" Chronicles

It warms our hearts thinking that Princess Dewey ( "and now she sits clean shiny and regal" ) is in such loving hands Nancy and Wade. We thought to put a few good beers in the fridge but so many folks abstain now days we didn't want to risk an awkward moment, but heck we'd love to share a...
