Hey from Kentucky

Phyl

Newbie
We just bought Bob's 2010 560 Ultra. We live in central Kentucky, and plan our first trip to be at the Red River Gorge - hopefully sometime between all of the Thanksgiving and Christmas activities. In the meantime - we are planning to camp out tonight at the house

This forum has been great already. Reading all the tips and tricks and campsite reviews. Can't wait to hit the road. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Welcome to the group! We live in east central Illinois and plan on camping in Kentucky to go fishing this spring. Used to go to kentucky lake with our boat and now trying to figure out how to still go fishing with pulling the camper instead. Maybe we'll see you sometime.

Good job Phyl on skipping the waiting period. Great you can get started camping right away. I really want to spend some time in your neck of the woods and that whole beautiful part of our country.
This forum is a really valuable resource and our experienced contributors really help some of us new people make less mistakes. It is fun to hear all the good, bad and ugly experiences. I have learned a lot.

Congratulations! That's really not fair though that you didn't have to go through the tourtuous waiting period between order and build completion!!

Welcome & Congratulations! We also bought our 560 Ultra used & have not had one regret because the CI quality is so amazing! Wishing you a fantastic first outing & hope you let us know how it goes.

We were talking just a week or so ago about needing to plan a trip to Kentucky....we've been really close several times but not able to visit yet. What are some of your favorite places/suggestions?

Casandra

Thank you all. If you are coming our way, let us know. We can't really speak to the camping yet, but you can not go wrong with the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. We also love Cumberland Falls, especially great if you can be there during a full moon and see the "Moonbow" over the falls. We will report on our camping finds as we travel and checking with all of you as we explore outside of Kentucky - will need all your recommendations.

Congrats and enjoy. I'm on the dreaded waiting list, with a delivery date of first-half July.

Please keep us updated with your journeys.
