Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

As far as I know, the only toll road in SC is the Southern Connector which is part of I-185 near Greenville, SC. It has a cash option. I normally avoid it since it’s not much quicker for me. Definitely avoid it with the camper. Used to be a toll road on Hilton Head, but the debt was paid off so...

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

40th high school reunion last night. Had a good time but kind of like speed dating. Where are you at now? How about your kids? How are your parents? Are you retired yet? Good talking with you.

    Hitch Issue

When we hitched the camper up a couple of weeks ago, one of the brake lights was not working on the camper. Unplugged it & replugged it several times. Checked the manual to troubleshoot the problem. Finally texted Cary/Craig (never sure who I’m texting. It’s in my phone as Cary/Craig, lol). They...

    I-85 must be Cursed!

I-85 from where I am in S.C. near the Ga border all the way to Raleigh is white knuckle driving. Beyond Raleigh it gets desolate for a while. South of me is the 60 miles it takes to across the ATL metro area. God help you if get on I-285 there. I-95 & I-75 are bad too.,

    I-85 must be Cursed!

I-95 has always been cursed. In one of the videos you can see from you can see from I-85 today, you can see the Frontrow Motorsports hauler for the 34 car going by the burning truck in the median.

    I-85 must be Cursed!

I-85 must be cursed. Two weeks ago, a tanker overturned on the bridge over Lake Hartwell that is the state line with Georgia. The cleanup closed the southbound lane for a couple of days. Today a a truck (18 wheeler ) overturned at Exit 19 as part of accident and this one included a hazardous...

    Hose Strap

Got these Velcro straps with a handle to keep our hoses together when not in use. Found them at a new store in town, Rural King. Able to hang them in our storage building with this too. We now have 2 hoses because the 50 feet long hose we owned was not long enough to get water to our camper at...

    Scratch

Just washed the camper and you can hardly see the scratch now. Shady Grady photo bombing me. We hang out behind the camper in the carport at home. Look under the chair. Grady is glued to me today because we were gone for a week. He showed up here a year ago. People who adopted out of the...

State Park Edisto Beach State Park

I think some. In the S.C. system it also depends when you make them. So the price can vary. The parks on the coast are popular so they won’t change much.

They are similar. Corgis are German Shepherds with stumpy legs. Same coat producing lots of tumbleweeds. Also, similar levels of stubbornness.

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

Eleven years ago when we picked up our Camp Inn at the factory, Cary told us having our 560 Ultra would make us the “Rock Stars of the campground.” Definitely felt that way at times too. If you want to achieve elite level rock star status you need to camp in a teardrop/raindrop with a Corgi...

State Park Edisto Beach State Park

Camped in both campgrounds in the park. 3 days at each place. This place books up a year in advance. In S.C., the window opens for reservations for the state parks at 13 month out. We’ve found you can find 3-4 days open up if you watch daily in the coastal parks. We found 3 nights open up in...

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

Got home from the coast. It is hot, real hot. Not often it’s cooler in Lowcountry SC than Upstate DC. but that’s where we are today.
